UMD Appoints Montreal Representative

The United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) Board of Directors are pleased to announce the appointment of Aleksandra Nasteska as UMD Canada’s first Regional Representative for Montreal.

“As the second largest city in Canada, it is only natural that UMD Canada expand its operations to the Montreal region,” said UMD Board Member and Canadian Operations Director Jim Daikos.  “Aleksandra joins the UMD Canada team at a crucial time for our community, and I am confident she will help enhance Canada-Macedonia relations, as well as help give our community in Montreal a voice.”

“I am so honored to take up this new role in UMD Canada,” said Nasteska.  “UMD is a respected organization in Canada and worldwide.  I look forward to advancing the Macedonian cause and serving the needs of the Canadian-Macedonian community.”
