Marija Cvetanoska  

Marija Cvetanoska (formerly, Malinovska) is a Juris Doctor and an attorney, licensed to practice law in the State of California.

Marija was born and raised in Bitola, Macedonia. She studied economics at the Faculty of Economics in Prilep for a year before moving to the United States, where she continued her studies at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Global Studies and German. Marija received her Juris Doctorate from the very selective two-year Juris Doctor SCALE Program at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, where she was a finalist at the Intramural Negotiation Honors Program Competition and volunteer at the IRS Income Tax Assistance Program. She clerked full-time at the California Department of Justice, and Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

An advocate from an early age, Marija has been organizing fundraisers and raising awareness for those in need. Marija currently serves as the United Macedonian Diaspora Chair for Los Angeles, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada, where she continues her work raising awareness and funds for those in need. Her lifetime goal is to empower women through micro-financing, especially in underdeveloped and developing countries. Marija is a firm proponent of educational and legal system reforms in Macedonia. Marija is a member of MENSA and is fluent in Macedonian, English, German, Spanish, and Vlach. Marija loves her family, and enjoys reading and traveling, especially to all the beautiful places Macedonia has to offer.
