Susanna Groves of the International diaspora Engagement Alliance (IdEA) recently conducted an interview titled “Macedonian-American Advocates for Homeland” with UMD’s President Metodija A. Koloski on why it is important for diaspora communities to take an active role in advocating for their country of heritage’s public policy priorities. The interview was published late last week in conjunction with the Global Diaspora Forum hosted by U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton providing great exposure for the issues facing Macedonian-Americans to a worldwide audience.
