Macedonia removes visa requirement for Canadian citizens

Skopje, December 1 (MIA) – The Macedonian Government has decided to annul the visa regime for the citizens of Canada, according to the government spokesman Ivica Bocevski who announced this decision to journalists on Saturday December 1st.
With this decision, many Macedonians who now live in Canada will be able to freely travel to Macedonia and more importantly this law will allow them retire in Macedonia. The dismissal of visa requirements will also streamline the flow of Canadian tourists that will be visiting Macedonia. Bocevski re-iterated that Canada is among the most powerful supporters of Macedonia’s accession to NATO and has recognized Macedonia under its constitutional name.
