The ECU Student Guild from Edith Cowan University in Perth and the United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) are organizing the first-ever Macedonian Food Festival to be held at the University on the 8th of April, 2011. This event is an ECU Student, Staff and Visitor event.
The 1st Macedonian Food Festival will showcase Macedonia’s rich cuisine and heritage. Macedonian food will be donated by the local Perth Macedonian community in support of the Festival. The Festival will feature traditional Macedonian music and dancing, a folklore performance, and a photography exhibit of Macedonian cities, towns, and villages.
Volunteers will be on hand to discuss the role of UMD in promoting Macedonian heritage, and its activities throughout Australia.
