UMD’s Newest Weekly Economic Brief

UMD is pleased to bring to you the fifth issue of UMD’s Weekly Macedonia Economic Brief. This edition features: Macedonia’s pollution problem, USAID’s newest initiative for Macedonian farmers, Macedonia’s low wages, and the Euro-Arab World Summit; this issue also take a look at the stock exchange from 10/23-10/30. This week’s brief also highlights data on Macedonia’s current imports, exports, and trade relationships.

The weekly brief is part of UMD’s broader effort to stimulate interest in growing and expanding the Macedonian economy. UMD believes that Macedonia has tremendous potential across various fields of the economy, and we hope to contribute to the quest for achieving sustainable economic growth.
