Zimbabwe became the 130th country to recognize Macedonia’s constitutional name. Zimbabwe and Macedonia established full-diplomat relations today.
Macedonian Prime Minister Gruevski and Zimbabwe President Mugabe met on the sidelines of the Africa-EU Summit in Tripoli, Libya in December 2010 to discuss issues of mutual interest.
