Filip Jotevski is a first-generation Macedonian American born in Columbus, Ohio with roots from Bitola, Macedonia. He currently serves as Generation M’s Global Co-Chair.
Filip lives in Washington, D.C. where he works in foreign policy for the United States Government. He was previously a consultant and worked at the Democratic National Committee and Biden for President campaign. He first got his start with UMD as an International Policy and Diplomacy Fellow where he helped launch the Macedonian youth movement in 2015.
He was also an inaugural participant of Birthright Macedonia’s first class where he worked in the Cabinet of Jerry Naumoff, Minister for Foreign Investments, in Skopje.
Now in DC, Filip works to use his experience in politics and government to advance the Macedonian cause and inspire young Macedonians around the world to do the same.
