Mark B. Mitskovski 

Mark B. Mitskovski is the President of Borison International Ltd, a strategic advisory firm that serves US and foreign clients in a range of industries, disciplines, and novel/disruptive technologies. He is a founding member and former President of U.S. Demil, LLC., a boutique engineering firm that developed a proprietary, state of the art, demilitarization processing technology for conventional, biological, chemical, and radiological munitions. He holds several US/International patents.

He has multi decade business and project development experience, with an emphasis in energy and advanced technologies. He served as the project manager of the 20 MW Steel Winds Project, the first commercial urban wind farm in the US, on the shores of Lake Erie, using cutting edge Clipper turbines.

Mitskovski previously served as Erie County Director of Energy Development and Management. He oversaw U.S. Department of Energy and New York State Energy Research Development Authority energy conservation and technology development programs for the private and public sector. During his tenure, he launched an array of energy projects/technologies across the region, established Erie County’s first wind development initiatives – the genesis of the Steel Winds project and other renewable energy developments, and led Erie County’s $287 million Niagara Power Project Relicensing settlement negotiations.

Mitskovski has extensive knowledge providing strategic guidance and services to government and business sectors, and is frequently called on as a speaker on energy matters. He is multilingual and has worked in the United States, and Central & Eastern Europe. He has served on the boards of numerous for profit and not for profit organizations. Mitskovski has degrees in Political Science and International Relations, and an MBA in International Business from Canisius College in Buffalo NY. He was born and raised in Europe and resides in Buffalo, New York.
