November 22, 2011 – Washington, D.C. & Chicago – On November 12, 2011, the United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) officially launched its Chicago operations at a reception held at the Union League Club in downtown Chicago. During the same evening, UMD awarded DePaul University undergraduate student Nevena Neskoska the fourth UMD John L. N. Bitove, C.M. Macedonian Heritage Scholarship.
