Mirjana Kuzmanovski is currently a junior at Seton Hall University pursuing her Bachelors of Science degree in Diplomacy and International Relations. As a first-generation Macedonian with roots from Kavadarci and Demir Hisar, Mirjana owes it to her heritage for shaping who she is today. Although she was born in the United States, her first language was Macedonian which led her to a love for languages today and the ability to communicate with others. She can speak, read and write in Macedonian, Spanish, and knows conversational German. She has taken elementary Russian courses during her year at Seton Hall, which have enhanced her knowledge of Slavic languages. Joining UMD in March 2015, she is slowly, but surely, integrating into Generation M and Macedonian politics. Mirjana has future aspirations of going to law school, focusing on international law, and of course, becoming a diplomat.
