Alex M. Atanasovski
Alex M. Atanasovski is a graduate student at the Wayne State University – Mike Ilitch School of Business in Detroit, Michigan, where he is pursuing a Master of Science in Taxation. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, in 2015 from Wayne State University. After graduating with his master’s degree, he plans to become a Certified Public Accountant. Atanasovski is a proud second generation Macedonian-American from Allen Park, Michigan. In Macedonia, his family originates from the Village Dragoš, Bitola Municipality and the Village Polčište, Prilep Municipality.
In addition to being an appointed Board Member At-Large of Generation M, UMD’s Youth Initiative, throughout Atanasovski’s college career, he has served as President of the Wayne State University Macedonian-American Student Association, both President and Treasurer of the Epsilon Phi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi – The International Honor Organization for Financial Information Students and Professionals, and has served on his local Melvindale-Northern Allen Park Board of Education since 2013, of which he is the current Treasurer. He is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma – Business School Academic Honor Society and an active parishioner at St. George of Kratovo Macedonian Orthodox Church in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
