15 Members of Congress Urge Support for Macedonia

WASHINGTON, D.C. - May 4, 2009 - Today, 15 Members of Congress sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recognizing Macedonia as a staunch ally and trusted partner. Led by Congressman Bill Pascrell of New Jersey and Congressman Mark Souder of Indiana, the letter urged the "new administration to review Macedonia's contribution to stability in the southern Balkans and its contribution to America's foreign policy objectives there and in Afghanistan, Kosovo, and the Middle East."
