The United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) requests the pleasure of your attendance to a very important meeting on Sunday, November 18, 2007 beginning promptly at 1:00 p.m. following the Sunday Liturgy. Sts. Kiril and Metodij Church Hall 1050 Pompton Ave. Cedar Grove NJ 07009 UMD Co-Founders, Board of Directors, and Members will travel from Washington, D.C. and other parts of the United States to make a presentation about UMD’s structure and policy issues discussing the following key areas of concern to Macedonians: - Name Issue - Human Rights for Macedonians in Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, and Serbia - Diaspora relations with Macedonia - NATO/European Union membership for Macedonia - Cultural Awareness - Charitable Efforts - Scholarships for Macedonians here and also in Macedonia UMD is in the process of opening a physical office in Washington, D.C. and hiring a full-time professional staff. Ways to help with this initiative will be discussed. United, We Can! Suggestion, comments, and ideas are welcome. Please bring your entire family. We strongly encourage the attendance of young Macedonians.
