The United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) requests the pleasure of your attendance to a very important meeting on Sunday, November 18, 2007 beginning promptly at 1:00 p.m. following the Sunday Liturgy.

UMD Co-Founders, Board of Directors, and Members will travel from Washington, D.C. and other parts of the United States to make a presentation about UMD’s structure and policy issues discussing the following key areas of concern to Macedonians:

- Name Issue
- Human Rights for Macedonians in Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, and Serbia
- Diaspora relations with Macedonia
- NATO/European Union membership for Macedonia
- Cultural Awareness
- Charitable Efforts
- Scholarships for Macedonians here and also in Macedonia

UMD is in the process of opening a physical office in Washington, D.C. and hiring a full-time professional staff. Ways to help with this initiative will be discussed.
