TORONTO, Nov. 1 /CNW/ - Canadians of Macedonian descent will be celebrating Canada's decision to recognize the constitutional and historic name of the Republic of Macedonia this Sunday, November 4, at 12:30 pm. The venue for the event is the Macedonian Orthodox Church "Saint Clement of Ohrid", located at 76 Overlea Boulevard in Toronto, Ontario.
   
Guest speakers scheduled to attend include the Honourable Jason Kenney, PC, MP, Secretary of State (Multiculturalism and Canadian Identity); and the Macedonian Minister of Defence, Mr. Lazar Elenovski.
   
Celebrations will include a reception that will showcase Macedonian history and culture, followed by an outdoor festival and dance featuring traditional Macedonian music.
   
On November 4, 2007, Canadians of Macedonian descent will say "Thank You Canada" and "Thank You Prime Minister Stephen Harper"!
