UMD - Macedonia to celebrate united anniversary of Delchev's birth

The United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) called Macedonians
throughout the world to unite in celebrating Goce Delchev's achievements today,
at the 136th anniversary of his birth.
The
association reminds that Macedonians in Bulgaria and Greece continue to face
the very same type of oppression that Goce Delchev fought against.
"UMD
calls on all Macedonians to continue supporting the Republic of Macedonia's
legal right to a constitutional name and its participation in international
institutions and organizations under such name in accordance with Goce
Delchev's vision," says UMD's statement released in association's
headquarter in Washington.
